Description: The Colonie Community Day Care Center is a private, not-for-profit organization conducted under the auspices of the Community Reformed Church. The Center is located at 701 Sand Creek Road within the church building. The Center was founded in 1975. The Day Care Center is licensed by the New York State Department of Social Services to care for 48 children ranging in age from 3 to 5 years old. The daily hours are 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. This is a year-round program. In addition, we are licensed to provide a summer day program for up to 20 children ranging 6 years to 12 years. Our teaching staff is fully trained in Early Childhood Education and Development. Through warmth and love, each child is recognized as an individual with individual needs.
