Description: A child grows in many ways: physically, emotionally, intellectually and socially. At KinderHaus, the goal is to give each child the room, the guidance, and the encouragement to develop confidently in each area of growth. There will be opportunities to play and learn: to be curious creatively, and to feel success through achievement in an atmosphere of faith, hope, and love. The children will be appreciated for themselves and their feelings recognized as valid. KinderHaus will provide for a warm, vital environment in which each child can live and achieve in a manner that will be of lasting value to them and their families.

The infant room is very small and filthy. Kids cry there all the time. Teachers show no empathy towards them, it's heartbreaking to watch. What is worse of all, I found my baby swaddled face down in her crib screaming when I came to pick her up in the middle of the day (this is against all regulations!) The teacher also did not own a mistake she had made and behaved very disrespectfully. The manager was not better and tried to cover up the teacher’s behavior and come up with meaningless excuses. If value your child, don’t bring them here.
Our daughter has been going to the Cleveland Park location for a month now and seemed to be settling in and very happy with it. This is her first five day a week / full time childcare experience. I stopped by the center today to drop off something for her that she had forgotten in the car and was shocked to witness one of the "caregivers" using extreme force with my daughter (she is only 3 years old). The person in question jerked her violently by the arm, then pushed her towards a cabinet and forcefully instructed her to put a toy away. I saw this all through the front door while waiting to be let in. Even more shocking, the woman would not own up to her outburst / inappropriate handling of my daughter to myself or her supervisor. I wish I could take my little girl out of there, but we are moving and has had all the change she can handle at this time...hopefully we can find alternate care in the next couple months. Parents beware.
