About the Provider
We are star rated through Ohio’s voluntary quality rating system known as “Step Up To Quality” which recognizes early care and education programs that exceed quality benchmarks over and above the state’s licensing standards. More than 70 children are cared for daily by our certified and compassionate staff of teachers who provide children with a safe, nurturing and positive environment for them to thrive and learn.
We provide parents with convenient hours, very affordable rates and the comfort of knowing their child is in a safe place while they are at work or school.
Girls Enabled is an innovative program designed for girls in the fourth grade and older that was launched at the Child Enrichment Center of Lorain in fall 2010. Driven by the girls’ interests in potential careers, the group is connected and exposed to strong, successful, college-educated women who are entrepreneurs and leaders in the community. Supported by grant dollars, the Girls Enabled participants have blossomed through activities which have included a tour of Oberlin College and speaking with professors and students, attending a cooking session at Cuyahoga Community College, and learning basic etiquette lessons such as the importance of eye contact, how to make a proper introduction and table manners which they put to good use during an excursion to the Cheesecake Factory.
