If I could rate this center a zero I would. I was advised by the state registry to leave this employer because they gave multiple violations. If you parents actually seen what happens to your children on a daily basis how they’re neglected, spoken to poorly, some even hurt, insufficient staff, left in soiled diapers causing rash and discomfort, playing with broken and unsafe toys, and more you would pull your children IMMEDIATELY and find a better center. No, I am by far not a disgruntled former employee the facts speak for themselves. Please see their multiple violations, please so surprise drop ins, they’re not even YoungStar rated which is a rating system for quality daycare. COF lies, fudges paperwork, they tried to do it with me! They lied to the state and said I started in August 2018 to avoid paying to do a proper background check and started me without paperwork even though I was already registered with the state, they still had to do paperwork! They have no call, no shows their ratios of teachers to children are illegal, the food if you can call it that, they serve your children is disgusting! They gave a newborn on several occasions another Mother’s breast milk. Why are you still taking your children here when there are 5 Star YoungStar Facilities minutes away? These facilities have video and audio monitoring and you can just pull out your phones and check on your child, drop in anytime in person. Ask to see COF “ Ouch Reports” these are reports of how many times a child is injured by another child, or staff neglect. Good luck, I left for greener pastures, you should too. The state needs and will be shutting this place down before you know it.
I am a parent that has brought my child to the center for over 4 years. I am very happy with the center, teachers and the director. To bad these ladies cannot get paid better, maybe the government could kick in a little like they do for the school systems. However, They always work hard every day at their job everyday and I really appreciate it and have seen it first hand with my own child. Also, I know many of the parents that bring their children here, if this was such a bad center, why would a Child Protective Services worker feel comfortable with their own children at this center? That is because they are good at what they do and there isn't anything to worry about with bringing them to Circle of Friends!
I have had two of my children at this center for the past five years. It has been a wonderful experience since day one. The director is very sweet and accommodating to our needs. She works very hard at her job. Everyone of the teachers that we have had is so good to my children. Our experience has been wonderful at COF and I have and I will continue to recommend this center to my friends and family. I also have had many friends and family say that they are very happy with their experiences with the center and have thanked me for introducing them to their home away from home.
This place should be shut down!!! The owner just collects money and doesn't care about the concerns of parents and employees. The director is lazy, lies and talks poorly about her own staff behind their backs to parents in order to save face. They fudge paperwork constantly in order to stay licensed.
My son has been attending COF since he was 8 weeks old, and he is now almost a year. I love the center and trust the staff entirely. They are all so welcoming and have helped my son learn so much so quickly. When I was calling facilities prior to enrolling I was told I would have to schedule a visit between certain hours because other hours were so busy with drop off/pick ups. Between changing, feeding, making sure teacher/child ratio is covered for a tour, it makes sense a scheduled visit would be ideal.
I agree with the 2nd comment about this center. We have been very pleased with the care that my child has had in the center. The teachers and the director (Debbie) are very caring to my child. It shows every day at drop off and pick up! They always give a smile and make myself and my child feel welcome. I have recommended COF to my friends and coworkers and several of them also bring their children and feel the same way as my husband and myself feel!
I feel badly for the author "Pat1" with the bad experience above. I've had my two kids there for almost a year and I couldn't feel more proud of of the progress they've made coming fron an "in home". I also can't tell you enough, how much like family these people are to me and my kids. I am so impressed I've made several recommendations and my new baby niece will be starting soon. Please take "one time" review like above with a gain of salt, as we've all had off days. Take a review from someone who's trusted these amazing people with her littles for almost a year and looking forward to many more. Amazing, amazing amazing.
We came in for an unannounced visit the afternoon of Nov. 12013. We asked if we could see the facility And were told that there were no openings. I asked if it was possible to still take a look at the facility and was told there were no openings until June but "I guess" I can still show you. The woman took us into the large hall area, explained its use and asked if we still wanted to see more as there were no openings! I asked about the infant room and was told there was no sense in seeing the infant room as there were no openings! Ok, it's clear to us that there were no openings.it was also clear to us that we were not welcome to come for an unannounced visit. The correct response would have been, Im sorry we have no openings but would be happy to show you around in case the situation changes. I would never bring a child there nor would I encourage others to come to this daycare. As we are driving away, a sign In the front clearly states" Accepting enrollment now" . How funny is that!
