Description: Children’s Villages is a family-oriented child development center designed to assist parents in meeting the early education needs of their children. The program includes an infant, toddler and preschool enrichment curriculum which is based on the most widely accepted theories and practices of early childhood specialists.
Children’s Villages is a unique child development center in its physical characteristics, the nature of its curriculum, and the compassion of the teaching staff. The Center’s physical setting is comprised of several villages. Each village is a representation of a separate stage of child development: infancy, the toddler year, and the preschool years. The children travel between these villages with their teachers/guides as they reach the different phases of maturity. The curriculum and equipment is age appropriate in each area. Our primary goals are to allow the children to develop their own unique sense of identity and levels of competence, all the while learning to appreciate diversity and respect for others.
