I have used this provider for more than 6 months

My daughter has gone to this daycare since she was 3 months old. Until recently we have had only minor problems. Now, however, she is potty training earlier that most children (she is only 19 months old) and I have run into nothing but problems. When my daughter started showing signs of wanting to potty train I asked the teachers and director what the policy was since she was young. I was met with enthusiasm and encouragement, stating that they would take her to the potty every 30 minutes and would help us along the journey. Unfortunately those were blatant lies. I began potty training my daughter at home and told the teacher what signs she gave when she needed to go pee. I was again told that the teacher would take her to the potty when she showed the sign to go. I watch the cameras frequently and noticed that my daughter repeated told that same teacher she needed to go potty and was ignored over and over. I brought it to the attention of the director and was basically ignored. I requested that my daughter be moved up to a classroom that could assist in potty training ... again ignored and told blatant lies. We came back from a short vacation to find that the potty in her classroom was shut down. Now my child is forced to pee her pants or hold her pee while at daycare. Again I brought it to the director and was ignored .... unenrolling my child ASAP! This is not the only thing that has occurred in this daycare either ... her shoes were taped to her feet (apparently by a repeat offender who was never fired but should have been) and she has been bitten more times than any child should have to be. I get that biting happens but not this frequently if you have teachers who actually pay attention!! Do not take your children here!

Very caring staff/teachers overall. Christian values a plus. Montessori program great option once child reaches age 3. Only complaint is that teachers seem most consistent during morning and early afternoon. In late afternoon, child is usually moved to another room to "consolidate" remaining kids. This usually works fine, but if there is ever an issue that day, it is usually at that time of day (later in the day/ after 4:30). Teachers are less familiar with your child as they are not the "daytime" teachers. Most accidents (such as falls/bumps/bruises) that we have experienced also happened later in the day. You really have to talk to the morning ("daytime") teachers to find out how your child is doing if you are picking your child up after 4:30 or 5pm. On average, we pick our kids up between 6 and 7pm.

Inadequate Nov 28, 2012

My 2 year old daughter was enrolled at this center for 8 months. During this time she was in two different classrooms and had an uncountable number of teachers. At first my child did great when she got dropped off, however, after so much inconsistency she started crying when I dropped her off. Only one of the many teacher did activities with the children and many of them were not specifically trained to work with the particular age groups. The policies are made along the way. My daughter was permitted to keep her bunny (her security blanket type thing) everyday until out of the blue it was taken and not given back to her. I was not notified of this policy. I arrived to pick her up and found her crying, red faced, and unable to catch her breath with nobody consoling her. Her teacher who I had never met before told me she wasn't allowed to have it. I got my child and her things and addressed the situation with the appropriate person. As I was speaking with her she continued to eat her dinner and brushed off the situations saying that its always been a policy and the teachers just haven't been enforcing it. I in enrolled her and haven't been back since. We are much happier at a new center!
