Just got off the phone, filing a complaint with Child Care Licensing against this "summer day care."
They left my 7 year-old in a bathroom by herself at Plaza Park, she was walking around bawling and finally found the van and a counselor IN the parking lot.
There were a bunch of kids left by themselves in their dance room with the doors wide open off of Pershing St. After finding a counselor after 5 minutes of searching the facility, and complaining to them, they had a "whatever" attitude.
Coach Michael repeatedly yells at the kids, and I told mine to tell him to please not yell at them and they're too scared to do it. After complaining, CCGI said they have received a lot of complaints about him, but obviously didn't enforce anything.
Couch Trevor once told my then 6 year-old daughter that, "If you do that again, I'm going to murder you." Her Marine father heard this and told her to tell Trevor that he will murder him if he ever talks that way to his little girl again. He apparently received a lot of complaints too, with no changes.
These people obviously have ZERO training to handle little kids, nor does the facility even care. I will NEVER be taking my kids back there again, and I'm glad I work in a child's psychologist office, so I can spread the word to parents.
