Description: At Carden Conservatory, it is our goal to enable each student to reach his or her potential in regards to academic and emotional growth. Using the system of phonetics, spelling, and reading created by Mae Carden as the framework for English language development, we seek to identify and capitalize on instructional methods that best enable students to learn. Capitalizing on small class sizes of fifteen or fewer students per teacher, we are committed to creating learning opportunities that bring out the best in each student. at the Conservatory, we understand that it is learning, foremost, which determines not only what is taught, but how it is taught. Moreover, our absolute commitment to daily experiences in music, art, and foreign languages distinguishes us from other schools, including other Carden schools. The indispensability of these electives is central to the Conservatorys educational philosophy. It is our sincere belief that, along with highly responsive instructional practices in core academic subjects, cultural growth begets social and spiritual growth.
