If I could rate this place as 0 stars I would, because that's what it deserves. The name Capital Royal is very fitting, seeing as how the owner, Mr. Daniel thinks he's better than everyone else. His sister, "Mrs. P" was no better than him and claimed to be a Christian. I had the misfortune of working at Capital Royal in the past. During that time, I saw horrific things that should have caused the place to be shutdown by ODJFS. The classrooms were never in ratio, children were mistreated by staff and Mr. Daniel, the owner, didn't do anything to fix it. He was fully aware of what was going on at the time and he DID NOTHING to prevent it. Employees would get into fights with one another (in full view of the cameras) and he still did nothing. At one point, he allowed an employee to work there that FAILED their background check! How he managed to do that I don't know. He also kept an employee on the payroll that forgot a toddler outside!! If you think I'm lying, all you have to do is pull up their records on the ODJFS website and it's all there in black and white. This pitiful excuse for a man should not be allowed to operate a business as he does. He only cares about money and that's it, and not the welfare of the children who he is responsible for.
Some teachers care and are professional. Others are not professional at all. Lots of screaming at the children. Disorganized. Children's belongings lost most of the time. Other children's personal items sent home with the wrong children. Teacher and administrative staff physical with children at times which is completely unacceptable. Too many children in toddler room to be supervised correctly. Many children with runny noses and dirty faces not being wiped off. Administrative staff not able to accommodate special needs of children.
My kid was bitten, scratched, walked in she was eating "slop". Multiple incidents occurred apparently while employees present or else who is watching the kids bite each other? Unprofessional staff, yellin at kids in disrespectful tone(I'm guessin she's finally fired)
Unsettling feeling after u leave
