Description: The staff of Escambia County Head Start is committed to providing a developmentally appropriate early childhood program for children to enhance their learning, growth, and development, and to provide experience and training for parents which will extend the learning environment from school to home and enhance the quality of family life. The most important task in early, early childhood is to help children become enthusiastic learners. This means encouraging them to be active and creative explorers who are not afraid to try out new ideas or think their own thoughts. At Head Start, our goal is to help children become independent, self-confident, inquisitive learners. We're teaching them how to learn, not just in preschool, but throughout their lives.
Where possible, ChildcareCenter provides inspection reports as a service to families. This information is deemed reliable, but is not guaranteed. We encourage families to contact the daycare provider directly with any questions or concerns, as the provider may have already addressed some or all issues. Reports can also be verified with your local daycare licensing office.
