Description: At Calvary Preschool, we seek to provide a child-centered integrated curriculum where a child may grow to be well-rounded - intellectually, emotionally, socially and physically. We view loving interactions with others and play as the primary means for healthy development in young children. Our foremost goal is to provide a preschool experience that prepares children for future success, both in school and in life, by showing them how to solve problems, get along with others and be competent and responsible individuals.
Where possible, ChildcareCenter provides inspection reports as a service to families. This information is deemed reliable, but is not guaranteed. We encourage families to contact the daycare provider directly with any questions or concerns, as the provider may have already addressed some or all issues. Reports can also be verified with your local daycare licensing office.

I registered my daughter in the Calvary Preschool in 2019 based on the good reviews I read online. However, they informed us in the beginning of the semester that the teacher resigned for a better job opportunity and they will find a formal replacement for my daughter's class in a timely fashion. Unfortunately, not until the end of the semester did they find a qualified new teacher, nor the Preschool refunded parents. They just assigned a staff to play the role as a "teacher" during that period of time. With regard to bullying, a boy in my daughter's class liked to tease her and occasionally hurt her while playing. My wife tried to seek helps from the management, but was responded that the parents of that boy are decent so they are inclined to believe it's a pure misunderstanding. Most importantly, my wife was not treated with decency and respect by the management during the communication process. The manager even said to her "Your daughter only comes twice a week. What else do you want us to do?" It's sad that a Preschool associated with a church treats students differently according to the amounts of their payment. In the end, I decided to personally handle the issues with the manager. Although I still did not get refunds for the lack of formal teaching, the manager finally agreed to talk to the parents of the boy. Meanwhile, we met with the mother of the boy during the birthday party of another classmate and had a productive conversation. All in all, we have not been given much opportunity to experience the teaching of the Calvary Preschool (nor other students in the same class have had). You can say we are just unlucky, but I believe the management at least could do more to compensate the parents.
