I have used this provider for less than 6 months
My granddaughter went to this daycare for 4 days and 2 hours on the 5th day. First of all my granddaughter is such a good baby but shes 9 months old and recently started teething. This lady couldnt even handle a teething baby! She says she's been a daycare provider for 25 years yet gives up and a baby because shes teething? You can visibly see the tooth popping up. I was in utter shock to hearvher complain about my granddaughter every day I picked her up. Also once we got home she was just fine and content just playing with her toys. I dont know what to say Im at a loss for words. The last day I picked up my granddaughter you could tell she had been crying fo a long time. Tears running down her face and couldnt catch her breath well. I immediately took her from the lady. She grabbed on to me for dear life. Her grip so so tight she had never acted like this before. After we walked out the door she gave me a big hug and kiss. She was so happy to be with me. I gor her in the car seat and buckled her in and just asked her was that lady mean to you she started crying so hard. I told her your never going back to thay ladys house dont worry. Definitely a surreal and scary moment. I would never trust this lady with and child I know ever again. She is so concerned about money yet lacks simple compassion to calm a teething baby!? How are you going to have a daycare for babies under a year old yet have an issue with teething? Makes zero sense to me. Take it from me dont trust her with your child. Especially of they cant talk.
Please be careful with this place, there are obviously more children than they can handle and your child's care and needs will not be met. As a new mom, I didn't quite know what to expect in child care but this was NOT it and I am realizing now. No one should ever tell you how to parent or tell you that you need to stop holding your baby so much, especially not your child care provider. Babies are meant to be held and kissed and loved on because that is what they need....love! In my experience, don't waste your time here, find a loving environment where your child will be comfortable and have their needs met without having to feel like you are defending them all the time.
