At Buds and Blossoms Preschool , it is our mission to provide a great place for children to explore and make sense of their world. We offer a nurturing environment for children to develop social emotional skills as well as an academic foundation. Our goal is to create a community that supports children and families, providing them with a passion for learning that will last throughout their lifetime. Our philosophy is a play-based and emergent Reggio Emilia inspired education where families can come together to foster the whole child. We offer an environment that incorporates social skills, critical thinking, emotional well-being, language development, physical development and nature discovery on a daily basis.
Buds and Blossoms Preschool follows the State of California Early Childhood Learning Foundations and Frameworks. They offer an emergent play-based curriculum that allows children to explore and learn at their own pace in each developmental domain: *Social Emotional *Language *Cognitive *Physical Our teachers use the Desired Results Developmental Profile (DRDP) assessment tool to incorporate each child’s individual development into the lesson planning. Ages and Stages Questionnaires are sent home with families to help teachers build a partnership with each family and to bridge the home/school connection while supporting your child’s development.
