Description: Welcome to Blessed Beginnings Preschool & Childcare LLC. Blessed Beginnings Loyalsock was started in January of 2006. The decision to open a child care facility was to provide quality, reliable care for my own children. As a certified teacher I had a difficult time deciding to leave my first child in care to pursue my teaching career. After staying home for 6 months with my oldest, I went back to work. My mother was able to watch him for the first six weeks, and then we placed him in childcare. Unfortunately things did not work out as we had hoped, and a friend continued his care. When she returned to work, we had 4 more unsuccessful attempts with care, along with having another child. The decision was made to use my teaching experience at a different capacity. I am able to have the best of both worlds – my children come to work with me and I get to do something I love. Since 2006, we have grown and continue to strive to be a quality educational child care program. In August 2011, we opened a second site in South Williamsport. We are so Blessed!

My son has been going to this school/daycare center for almost 2 years. We liked it at first and liked his past teachers. Unfortunately he had to move down to a downstairs room because of his age and things turned bad. His first teacher that was in the room was very nice and organized in the way she handled kids, she then had left. The aide/teacher that temporary replaced seemed like she could not handle the kids very well. We started to receive multiple behavior reports about our son. The behavior that our son was showing was not the behavior he was showing at home. We did not understand what was going on and it seemed like the structure that use to be there was thrown at the door. They would call and asks us to pick up our son 3 days straight. We eventually had the owner of the daycare involved about this situation. She however was very unprofessional in the way she handle and spoked to my husband and i. They stated to us that their was nothing they could do for our son and they were all out of options. We understand that our son is not perfect but kids will be kids and will act out but a facility like this one that practices child services should never give up on a child, they should always come to a solution, (what are we paying them for) We felt our son was targeted During the last couple of weeks. Some of the teachers are unqualified and can't handle certain situations. Their have been other issues that we had encountered at this daycare, one of them being the lack of communication between the staff, when I would pick my son up from school and ask how his day was no one seemed to know anything, his face would be dirty and never wiped off, we would pick him up and his diaper and clothes would be wet and my husband on occasions would have to change our son ourselves, seeing that they were incapable to do so, the bathrooms stunk horribly when my husband would change him in there. Their had been a couple of times our son would come home with diaper rashes, one being bad enough that he could not sit that night due to the staff not changing him. We started to notice more and more things that were wrong with his daycare, but most of all is the unprofessional and disrespect of the owner of this daycare. I would never recommend this daycare to anyone.
I have not had a good experience here with Blessed Beginnings and neither has my child she has had her earrings stolen out of her ears by a staff member/teacher as well as hit in her mouth by another student because the staff was not paying attention and watching the children as they are paid to do. The daycare director has not and will not take any responsibility or accountability as to the safety, health, and wellness of my child. I am sure that my child is not the only one that has had things stolen or incidents where a child's safety has been endangered due to neglectful people. I will never refer anyone to this daycare facility and I am sure that 15 children to 1 teacher is NOT PA regulation or guidelines.
