Description: The Atlanta First Day School is born out of a desire to support the Church’s mission of ministering to the needs of our community. We will provide a family friendly, high quality, safe environment in the city that serves as a loving extension of the family as it meets the physical, emotional, spiritual and educational needs of our children.
Where possible, ChildcareCenter provides inspection reports as a service to families. This information is deemed reliable, but is not guaranteed. We encourage families to contact the daycare provider directly with any questions or concerns, as the provider may have already addressed some or all issues. Reports can also be verified with your local daycare licensing office.

I have worked at AFDS for roughly a year and a half and I am honored to be a part of the AFDS Family. I enjoy what I do, and AFDS gives it's teachers freedom to teach in a way that they may all strive for success. We employ strong academic standards set forth by the Georgia Early Learning and Development Standards board. Embracing higher learning challenges makes teaching the young students at AFDS very rewarding. Each student who has entered my classroom has had a profound impact on my teaching methods and has helped me grow tremendously as a teacher. The families at AFDS are absolutely exceptional as well. Their generosity towards the school, their kindness towards the teachers and their participation in school sponsored events is first-rate. AFDS opened it's doors with merely 5 students and we now enroll 90. It is with great pride that I submit this review and I hope our school continues to expand and excel in the future. Thank You!
Buyer be ware. Linda Evans, the school director has no control of her staff and constantly lies to the parents. Her administrative staff consists of people with little to mo experience or relatable education. After parents complained about a staff member's rough handling of the children, Ms. Evans rewards the abuser with an office position! Please, do youself a favor and find child care elsewhere. This school is just horrible! Gave it 1 star because I had to rate it, should be negative 5 stars!
