First it is a very clean day care which is good.Everything is in its place and named. My first thought was great its a germ free clean establishment. As the days went by i kept coming in and noticing that all these toys on shelf and books were full of dust. So at first i was a bit puzzled to why was there dust? Meaning they are not as clean as i thought. Then it hit me , object aqumulate dust when they are not being moved. Meaning my child was not playing with these toys. Second my child lost a significant amount of weight .The day care would say they would feed my child but when i got home , my child would devour food like a savage. Drinking two glasses of milk two chicken legs and a slice of bread with cream cheese. This is a lot of food for a two year old. My child also picked up some strange habits. For example words that we clearly do not use due to my family not speaking spanish . Or actions like slaping my mouth when my child wanted me to stop talking. One day i was talking to my neighbor and i was holding my toddler when suddenly i got slapped in the mouth. I asked my child why he had done this . He responded "shhh no talk", pow pow. Something i never do or have seen done to a child. Third the staff, these ladies seem very nice ,but somedays i would pick up my child and they would give attitude and not very welcoming. I understand we cant always have a great day, yet in this field you shouldn't take it out on the children or the parents. The owner is more understanding and kind. on the other hand the assistant is not as kind or understanding. Most of the times my child did not like going in to the day care when she would open the door and great us. Also my biggest issue was the kissing. They always kissed my child on the cheeks. The owner and her husband need to understand that these children are not family and should not be kissed. I left the day care after six months due to a girl that kept bitting my son. I wouldn't go back or tell anyone about this daycare, well maybe to warn them. Good luck !
