Not Worth 1 star. Not a healthy environment.
Lack of supervision & guidance toddlers thrown in with each other dirty hands, faces, diapers. Coughs, runny noses, sneezing. No sanitary interventions. Parents come & go at high speeds on road. minor children in front seats.
Hoping this place closes down yesterday.Staff say they are forced to write positive comments to keep their jobs and boost the business. Beware! owner and staff wrote positive comments, owner has been known to remove derogatory comments
I wouldn’t even give this Daycare 1 star! My grandson was being dropped off to daycare when an employee came out and handed her a piece of paper saying the care has been denied! No notice, this woman used every thing in the book to get out of taking care of a 2 yr old that doesn’t understand story time, or participate in crafts with 4-5 yr olds! In one week called my daughter and said he had diarrhea, next call was a fever, and couldn’t come back without doctors note, she brought home to doctor, note was given and by law the temperature needs to be above 100.4, his was 99.8! Per Doctor! She can not handle anyone that is young, and quite frankly do your research on this lady, last year she was closed and being investigated! Also one call because he wouldn’t stop crying and when my daughter got there, he was on the floor playing with 2 kids laughing!
My child attended this daycare for just under 6 months. Something was off from close to the beginning but I couldn't quite figure out exactly what it was. My child started having drastic change in behavior as well as night terrors. Eventually our child started to open up to us instead of shutting down when we asked about the day. We immediately pulled our child out and regretted not listening to our gut feelings sooner. I'm not going to go into depth about what our conversations consisted of but after reading a new report on the states daycare website about this particular provider we were able to directly relate as to why our child's behavior had changed drastically while attending there. Please do your research before sending your child to any daycare and keep in mind anyone can write a review but the state reports are posted for our protection and can only publicly post things they have founded to be the true.
I knew from the first time & only time we went there for a play date that I would never send our children there. One of my children had to use the bathroom & I heard a child whining from another room. I thought all of the children were outside. She had a 4 YEAD OLD, ALONE IN A BACK ROOM IN A PACK & PLAY as punishment. While we were all outside playing & having fun. I checked in on him few times while we were there. We were there for about 4 hours & she didn't check on him once. Or even mention that he was there. I notified his parents of the situation & they found him a new daycare provider.
I wouldn’t even give this women one star but to leave this I have to! My children went to ambers a couple years ago my now five year old was 3 at the time and my now almost 3 year old wasn’t even a year yet wasn’t walking! She couldn’t handle that my youngest was dealing with some anxiety being away from me, she would make me stay in the mornings for an hour and the “sneak” out so he wouldn’t notice. She made me lose my job at the time because I’d be at work for an hour and she would text or call me staying come get your kid it’s not far to the others to have to listen to him scream and yell! Every time I would pick him up every day she would say his diaper leaked because they were to small(more like because he wasn’t being changed when he should have been) she plays favorites! I found out later on when we stopped going that she would leave my son in a pack and play to scream and cry! She would sit him on the floor to feed him instead with the rest of the kids. Is would measure food out like they were in a diet pretty sure she was using her wic to get stuff for her daycare. This women needs to be shut down ASAP please do not send your child to her! If my children where there for a fall day they acted like they hadn’t ate all day long! She told me that there was something wrong with child and I didn’t to have him put ssi and I needed to stay home with him. Just so you all know he’s a very happy now almost three year old
I have had the opportunity to tour the daycare and see it in action. I was very impressed with what I witness. I liked how the staff is really involved with the kiddos and how the help the children are gaining confidence in who they are.
My daughters have been in Miss Amber's Daycare LLC since may of 2013. They love it here. I love it here too! She has the best rates in the area and opens at 630 am too. She offers the ABC mouse program and other educational tools, and she takes them on fun field trips too. I highly recommend Miss Amber's Daycare, LLC.
my child enjoys attending. looks forward to playing with the other kids.
