Amar Children's Center

My Son is 11yrs old now and he attend this daycare. My daughter just started and i am very happy to know that she will be with the same teacher that my son had. Yes, you my run into some rude Teacher's Aides but like anywhere else you need understand that eveyone is human and if you come at them rude, you will get the same reaction. Yes, they are working with your child, but NOT only YOURS! your children will learn some much here, Thats why its called "Amar Learning Center"

This comment is more for the women who are saying the teachers are rude ^^. Maybe some teachers are indeed rude, however that is no right to generalize all the programs' teachers. Some are genuinely concerned about the students and such.

This is by far the best childcare program aroung..the reason I  stay in west covina for the past 5 years, two of my kids attended this school.. they have the most lovely ladies, always patient and caring.. God Bless this school and the teachers...

IF I HAD THE CHANCE TOCHOOSE ZERO STARS I WOULD. THE TEACHERS HERE ARE VERY RUDE AND NOT PATIENT AT ALL. TO BE WOKING IN A FACILITY WITH CHILDREN YOU NEED TO HAVE PATIENCE. THEY WOULD COMPLAIN ABOUT MY SON EVERYDAY. MY CHILD HAS AUTISM. THEY ASKED IF I TAUGHT MY SON MANNERS?? AGIAN, MY SON HAS AUTISM!!!! THIS SCHOOL HAS MUCH POTENTIAL .. I ALSO FEEL LIKE MY SON IS FOREVER COMING HOME HUNGRY.. LIKE HE ISNT FED. I DONT KNOW SOMETHING IS GOING ON AND I NEED TO KNOW.. FOR MY SONS SAKE.. PLEASE TRAIN YOUR TEACHERS CORRECT.. OR AT LEAST HIRE TEACHERS WHO HAVE AT LEAST A BIT OF HEART. THANKS.

My child still attends Amar Children's Center she has been there about a little over a year. When my child went to the 4yr old class it changed. The teachers are very rude and when I walk in to pick my child up they never seem to greet you. I would ask if my child ate or if my child was not feeling well I would ask about her day and they would all throw the ball at eachother saying I wasnt there for lunch, I wasnt there for nap time. It never seemed like they knew what to say I had a few issues with them I dont have a choice or else I would take my child else where. Im so glad that my child will be leaving there the end of summer. Plus when my child had accidents it was due to negligence of the teachers not letting her go because they were alone in the class. I have worked at a childrens center also and know that children ALWAYS come first!!!! I dont care that the teachers seem to claim that they have been there 25 yrs!!!! That doesnt matter or make a difference to me. All I want is my child to be well taken care of if you dont like your job then why are you there!!! Im so done with this I would NOT recommend this facility at all!!!

Please read the fine print on your contract, and have them put it in writing what your child’s day will be like. The reason for me starting off like that is: They will tell you one thing, and do the other. I have been getting conflicting information regarding my child, from the first day of Day Care, until even now. That Day Care has some serious problems that need to be worked out. I have had to speak with some one higher up, but they seem too confused on what to do. They do how ever “CYA” themselves very well. Your better off paying the money, and taking your child to a much more responsible Dare Care, then leaving them with people whom will not watch your child and just take your money. You get what you pay for. (Just remember that it's your child who will be doing more of the paying)

My daughters have been attending here since the beginning of august and i have to say so far so good, my girls love, they r learning a lot and everyone in the office have been great help..

Ok first i want to start off by saying i love the teachers my children have had but i have had numerous problems with the women in the front office. I dont know what it is these days but people are getting ruder by the minute. I dont understand how a school district can hire these women to wk here or what inside of them thinks they have the right to be rude and direspectful to parents. I understand it might be frustrating but they need  not forget that this is theyre job and they are working around children. If they do not like theyre job, QUIT. Ive tried to make a complaint but the women completely disregarded me. So i went above them and called the district. I just hope someone sees this and makes a difference because im beyond tired of some of these women in the front offices of HLPUSD SCHOOLS SOMETHING NEEDS TO CHANGE!!!

I LOVE having my experiences there. These kids are really smart and they are a very good listener. I wouldn't mind working there if i can but its a great pleasure to have my experiences there. Thank you very much.
