Hence, inquiry reasoning, and problem-solving are just some of the critical thinking skills that students are called upon to exercise on a daily basis. This constructivist approach means that you will see children working independently and in small groups with manipulatives and models to make new discoveries. You will also see teachers who facilitate student learning by carefully planning student learning experiences. Our teachers are expected to exhibit the highest level of professionalism and demonstrate a personal commitment to lifelong learning. At Ross, teachers plan lessons, units of study, and assessments during weekly grade level meetings under the guidance of our Instructional Coach.
