On December 20th, I went and toured the business which was very nice. I decided to move forward with childcare services for my 19 month old infant and was told to pay a $100 fee to secure my spot for hold. I discussed with the owner and agreed to a start date of 1/8/18. I called and called the week before wanting to confirm my start, with no answer or phone call return. I physically went to the daycare on 1/8 and saw a sign stating they were closed indefinitely due to pipes bursting during a storm. I called about receiving my funds back with no answer. I feel like this entire situation was very unprofessional, I get that accidents and emergencies occur but as an insured business owner she will be reimbursed. I am a single mother of two children, even if care could not be provided as prospective clientele you perform common courtesy by CALLING and explaining that and then RETURNING my money as services will not be held not can they be used. Also from what I've been told by other centers the pricing is above standard and the "hold fee" is unusual. Please use caution when proceeding with this business
