I have used this provider for more than 6 months

So honestly there are so many things that I loved about this daycare in the beginning. I am so sad that it ended negatively. What I loved was how much they taught my kids, there is a curriculum and the staff was wonderful. There are still some teachers that I really miss and wish all the best. But when the safety of my child became an issue and when the director of the daycare wanted to make me the enemy for having questions about the marks on my child’s face when their stories were different and no one could tell me how they happened and the ones they were giving me didn’t add up. Then she tells me that she doesn’t have to show me or the state the tapes. ???? Then wanted to continue to send my child outside when there is an obvious ant problem considering she was getting numerous bites all over her body. She had bites on the bottom of her feet, ankles, legs, stomach, arms, wrist, and fingers in a two week span. They had treated it once upon my request but she continued to get bitten. I said that I didn’t want her going back outside until the problem was fixed for which she said she is going to be sent outside because it is state law that all kids go outside and that we are dealing with nature. ??? Really? Then gets snarky with me asking that if I say she isn’t going outside no matter what would I then be coming to pick her up during outside times? It’s also state law that all children have a safe environment. And it’s my expectation that my 19 month old who is very allergic to these ants has a safe environment to play in. On top of all this they constantly were not giving me incident reports for the injuries. Their classic response was well, I wasn’t there, I didn’t see it, and we didn’t know. That is not ok with me. When they opened the new facility they took half their teachers to the new building and things went down hill from there. One teacher per class is not enough. I was having to address problem after problem every week. And could tell that with each time I brought something up she was not receiving it well. I asked if any of the things I brought up were unfounded and she said no. I got sick of wondering in what condition I would be picking my child up in. I didn’t have peace of mind and when I asked for peace of mind and an explanation she said that I was just mad because she told me no on keeping my daughter inside. No what I am mad about is that you don’t seem to take the safety of my daughter seriously or else you would be showing me the tapes to give me peace of mind and you would be keeping my child inside until the ants were dealt with. Instead you make me public enemy number one. She messaged me and said that they had decided not to let me come back after that morning she messaged me and when I told her I would not be back at all, she had deactivated my codes within the hour before I could even go get my children’s things. She said that in questioning the teacher I upset her and she didn’t want me to come back because the teacher was upset and the director needed to be there to give the teacher support from me? All because two different stories were given about the marks on my 19 month olds face and her story didn’t add up. I see. So I give two stars simply because of the beginning they do live up to their name. It is a perfect start but a horrible ending. I am posting this because others have reached out to me stating that they have been treated the same way and someone needs to speak up or else it will continue to happen.
