About the Provider
St. William Early Childhood Development Center is excited to begin implementing the NEW Wee Learn Curriculum starting the 2010-2011 school year. The curriculum offers a Catholic faith-based learning environment for children between the ages of 18 months to 5 years of age. Children participate in a variety of learning center activities which include: art, books, blocks, puzzles, manipulatives, nature, music, and dramatic play. Social skills are developed through sharing, taking turns, thinking, reasoning, and solving problems. Bible stories, thoughts, and verses are included in each teaching unit. St. William ECDC also provides a ministry and a witness of Christ and knowledge of the Catholic faith to children and their families. The St. William ECDC follows standards set by the church. The curriculum is age specific and tailored to each child’s stage of development. Lessons are built around play experimental learning and designed to help the child develop in all facets of life including; socially, mentally, physically, emotionally, spiritually, and facilitate the child’s ability to absorb his concept of God, through appropriate activities.
