I worked for Primrose of East Allen for many years. The teaching staff is great, but the office staff support is lacking. Improvement is needed, they have a gaggle of nesting hens in the office. They do nest, support in the classrooms is needed. I was leaving for my break , I could hear codes being initiated and the hens did not move an inch. If you need a restroom break you better schedule it beforehand. The guilt they make you feel when you request a day off is disgraceful. If you call in sick they badger you to come later. If your having a rough day forget any type of support from the 2 educational coaches, the lack of communication is deplorable. All they do is throw more tasks/activities on your already busy lesson plan. They don't talk to you in a collaborationall way, it's more of a dictatorship, you do what they demand, or your punished in some way literally. If the owner was on premises full time they wouldn't need 5 hens nesting in the office talking about their nail and eye lash appointments. It's like the mean girl academy click. The work enviroment is toxic, unethical, and deplorable to the teachers whom are the glue, collaborate and strategize. I have watched màny awesome teachers leave this school for lack of communication and just plain unprofessional practices. Wage reduction is an insanely disrespectful practice, can an employee rate hike the employer for letting them go, I think not, a unjust form and should be unlawful form of punishment. You worked the hours, you should receive your hourly rate if you leave unexpectedly, not minimum wage, a shameful business practice. I will say it is a great place for your child, the classroom teachers truly are there for the kids. Management is just atrocious and plain just lazy.
