Description: It is our desire to give children a well-rounded education about themselves, our world, and in the things of God. Children develop a positive self-concept through a balance of self and teacher-directed activities. Staff serves as positive role models and provides care that is supportive, nurturing, warm and responsive to each childs needs. We respect parents as the primary and most important provider of care and nurturing, and we believe parents and teachers are partners in childrens care and education.
Where possible, ChildcareCenter provides inspection reports as a service to families. This information is deemed reliable, but is not guaranteed. On my son's 3rd day at Nazarene Christian Child Care Center, he was bitten on the arm by another child. Kids will be kids. However, according to my son's teacher, this child had bitten almost every other kid in the classroom. After being sick, my son also came home with dried mucus all over his face from not being cleaned throughout the day. There are cameras in all the classrooms so that anyone can see the children at any point in time however the camera in my son's room is not working. Overall I was disappointed with the kind of care or lack thereof that my son received and my son will not be returning.
