I have sent children to this day care for several years. We have had both positive and negative experiences. The day care is clean and has many great options; however, I do not feel the school is a Christian Learning Center. The owners do not communicate and make decisions out of love and respect for the children enrolled or the parents who want nothing more than to feel good about the place they drop their kids off every day. Rather, decisions are made from a pocket book perspective and customer conflict is handled inappropriately. This has been further demonstrated as the owners have opened a second school and time is stretched thin. If there were better options in the area, our kids would not attend this school. Additionally, the school has not notified us of accidents on several occasions and have asked us to backdate accident report signatures in efforts to be compliant.
A little over a month ago I wrote an emotionally charged review against Mini Texans due to some biting incidents. I am happy to say that since then the daycare owners, staff and teachers have worked hard to remedy the situation and implement new policies. After much prayer and watching out little one walk down the hall so happy to see her teachers and friends, we have decided to keep her in this loving Christian environment. I'm thankful that everyone was so willing to find a solution.
I used to sing the praises until my child turned one. That's when the biting started. She has been bit at least 6 times and apparently the next class she would move into has 9 biters out of 14 students. The discouraging part is they have NO policy to biting. After a sit down meeting and yet another biting incident, we were told it was time for US to find a new daycare. Apparently they'd rather keep children who bite each other.
