I wish I could say that this is at least a decent babysitter but they can't even manage to watch babies. First of all, our 4 year old who has been diagnosed with ADHD and is considered neuro-divergent, was in class with them. It started with him throwing tantrums which is normal for a 4 year old. After a few months of no communication except "rough afternoons" we finally learned that his best friends left at the beginning of summer and he was being hit and kicked by another kid. Our son showed up with scratches all over his neck and bruises and when we asked him, he explained that another kid was punching him in the stomach. I brought this up to the director who explained that the kid had speech issues. While this is understandable, it doesn't forgive the fact that he was injured and no report was made available. Fast forward to the beginning of the school year, where our son was purposely moved from one class to another with what we expect was a targeted attack on our son. Shortly after this move, he was asked to not return to the the school. Moving on, we have twin boys and after this incident we felt immediately that our twins were being targeted. One twin bites while the other one gets bitten. Today, we received no notice that they were expelling our children with no excuse other than the one bites. Our other twin has been bitten multiple times by children and we have never made an issue of this. Come to find out, they are short staffed and are shuffling teachers around and have targeted us because we dared to question their ability to actually teach our children. Moral of the story, this is barely a babysitting service.
I love Cindy. She does her absolute best. Being a daycare administrator cannot be easy. She cares and it shows
We were so excited to get the opportunity for our 2yr old daughter to go to Little Farmer's daycare. At first, everything was good. Then our daughter started having issues with constipation (it was so bad that a doctor visit was necessary), and our sweet, bubbly little girl started to dread going to school. Turns out her teacher was telling her she was a bad girl for not listening and was very cold toward her, this took 6 months to convince my daughter that she isn't bad. We also found out that she wasn't getting enough water, hence the constipation. I asked Cindy, the director, if my daughter could bring her own water bottle since the doctor recommended it and Cindy said it was against licensing. This was not right since I personally knew 2 other kids that had their own water bottles. I was told that they didn't give the toddlers water unless they asked, this lessens the amount of times they pee. My child was severely dehydrated (almost passed out in my arms when I got her one hot day) and was in such pain every time she went to the bathroom she would cry. Cindy didn't seem to care and was very hostile. Her solution was to make my daughter drink a cup of water before being handed to me, evidence on her shirt. I also found out by one of the employees that my potty trained toddler was not given access to the bathroom, they would have her soil herself, and then put her in a pull-up all day so they didn't have to accompany her to the bathroom. When I told Cindy that my daughter would no longer go there, she could care less. I have no idea why Cindy was so rude to us. I tried really hard to approach any issue with an open mind and wanting to find a solution. I let this woman walk all over me and my toddler paid the price. I hope no one has our experience. Btw, our daughter goes somewhere else now and returned to her happy, silly self.
I am writing in reference to the above comments. It seems to me that money is the root. That has nothing to do with the care of the children in this center. If you have an issue with the director it is best to call and speak with her. To the best of my knowledge we have always welcomed and been incredibly accommodating with Child Care Services enrollees. As far as hiring inexperienced teachers, that is completely invalid. We have several teachers that have been here ten plus years. Yes, we give opportunities to teachers who present themselves as caring and have a heart for children. We regret that your experience at our center was less than favorable.
They start out good, but if you are on CCMS they will drop you in a heartbeat if they can get another child that is not on CCMS and they do it without warning. Have talked to several past parents and teachers and they all say the same, Cindy (the owner) is a greedy woman that cares nothing about the children and only about money. She hires inexperienced teachers that cannot and will not care for children properly. This place needs to be shut down permanently. DO NOT AND WILL NOT EVER RECOMMEND THIS DAYCARE TO ANYONE, I WOULD NOT TRUST THEM EVEN WITH A DOG. AND AM GOING TO DO EVERYTHING I CAN TO SEE TO IT THEY GET SHUT DOWN BEFORE THEY HURT A CHILD SERIOUSLY.
