We moved to the Waco area and needed to find new childcare for our son. He has been in 3 diffrent programs in his life. There are positives and negatives with every center. The important thing is does the teaching staff want to be there. Do they enjoy thier job and working with the children. My sons teacher loves her job and her class it shows everyday. As for the facility as a whole its dated and needs some TLC but it is a safe learning environment for my child , im happy with my choice. I myself have worked in child care from age 16-21 and I know the perception of the 5-10 min a parent walks threw vs a full day of activity and every age group and teacher is diffrent with diffrent struggles.
My son currently attends Happy KidA Academy and I absolutely love it. You may have one or two employees who come off as rude, but what's new about that? They are very nice and friendly people. As for the front office staff they are even more amazing !!
To the person up above you think you can get any ruder and then you stated that they were rude, but you said some very rude things yourself.
Happy Kids..a complete hypocrisy to their name. The kids did not seem very happy and neither did the teachers or the other people who worked there. Most of the teachers appeared to be happier just sitting in a chair and barking orders at the children, who had learned to tune them out for the most part. Most are out of shape and can barely seem to keep their breath walking, much less running after very active children. Very suspicious of whether any of them have any schooling or certification for actually "teaching" anything. The Director and her front office Assistant appear to have missed the courses on proper customer service and interacting effectively with others. Rude is the only word that comes to mind. Rude and too busy to be bothered by, well anyone. Busy, that is good right, well it would be were it busy with things that involve the business or more importantly the children in their care. The place was not filthy, passable probably if inspected, but upon closer look, it would appear that surface clean is about as far as this building ever sees. Cobwebs in corners, dust on things that are hanging on the walls as well as along the baseboards where little children like to meddle. The children seemed fussy, unchallenged academically and well in my honest opinion this is little more than a glorified babysitting service. If you are looking for preschool learning and socialization to prepare your toddler for entering kindergarten... this is not the place. If you want overpaid, lazy, ill natured babysitters so that you are not leaving your child unattended and alone while you are working... you have found the right place.
Great workers and clean enviroment
