Description: The Salvation Army's goal as operator of the program is to provide “wrap-around†services designed to assist homeless women in attaining and maintaining self-sufficiency. Objectives focus on obtaining safe and stable housing, income necessary to support housing and personal stability. A high priority is placed on children's services which include licensed child care, child/family therapy, after-school tutoring and transportation to local schools. Shelter clients may stay in shelter 30-90 days while working on their self-sufficiency goals with their assigned case manager.
Where possible, ChildcareCenter provides inspection reports as a service to families. This information is deemed reliable, but is not guaranteed. We encourage families to contact the daycare provider directly with any questions or concerns, as the provider may have already addressed some or all issues. Reports can also be verified with your local daycare licensing office.
