Accused us of abuse because my son who has an autoimmune disorder would go in with small bruises from hospital visits and lab draws and is a very active toddler. He started walking at about a year old, but obviously not the most graceful. He fell on his highchair tray and got some bruises on his butt. CPS got involved and told some lies, which they admit to being wrong, and made the whole situation worse. These people are rude and unprofessional. Would constantly write that our child need diapers even if we sent diapers that day. Would make us provide meals for field trips and also ask us to send money for the field trips even though a lot of times they went to the owners pool. If I could give this place a negative star review I would. Save yourself and children months of aggravation and take you children elsewhere.
My children ages 2 & 3 have attended this daycare for over a year. My 3 year old gets homework every weekend as well as has daily work that is sent home that he's accomplished himself! I am very pleased with this daycare. Both of my children and myself love the staff. Not only do I love that both of my children get a weekly bible verse, a weekly newsletter, a daily sheet that explains what their day consists of, daily work to learn their colors, abc's, and numbers but they also have a great play area both inside and outside. I would definitely recommend this daycare!
As a "Christian" daycare goes, this was the most disappointing center I have ever encountered.
While the place IS glitzy looking, the center is managed poorly. We were given the usual handbook, and a smiley walkthrough with professions that this would be the most wonderful experience for our children - That they would be welcomed and helped to acclimate. In the six weeks since they've known about our attendance, our son has yet to get a name tracer (the wipe-off kind to practice with), and nothing was set up (cubby, name on hook, as the other kids had). While we brought in a folder for his work as required, it has not been used.
In the handbook, it states that the children attend a preschool. Be forewarned that there are no certified teachers here. In the 4 weeks of attendance, he has had no take-homes of work that's been done during the day. When asked about it, the first response the caregiver gave was that she was just too busy. After the first two weeks, it was brought up again. "We'll be on track for Monday." Monday, and all of the following week - nothing. And the next week, it was a different excuse.
The handbook states that the children will have computer time each week. The computers are supposedly broken, but - a completely cosmetic remodel of the front office was done, rather than fix the computers for the children.
The director and caregiver both indicated that a weekly newsletter goes home to parents so that they can participate and monitor what their children are doing. In 4 weeks, only one of those came home, and the caregiver blithely told me that she decided not to use it that week.
While there was one caregiver in the facility who seemed cheerful, approachable, and kind, one person does not a facility make.
In short, of the 10 goals that they themselves portray in the handbook, I'd say that they fail at 6, and simply don't do what they say they will do. Essentially, they lied to us, which is sad coming from a place that quotes Bible verses so well.
