Both my sons have attended Marian's preschool since they were 3 months old. One is in Kindergarten this year and the second is about to go to kindergarten in the 2023/2024 school year. Our boys LOVE Marian. My oldest in particular was always very excited to be dropped off in the morning. Now that he's in elementary school, he is ahead of his class in writing, reading, and interpersonal/behavior skills and I credit that to her structure. She starts them early learning letters/numbers and practicing their writing skills. They have a structured schedule that actually helped us get on a schedule at home when the boys were very young.
I'm very surprised to see any negative reviews here. Everything we've experienced has been positive. Our friends that have attended her school have said the same thing (recent and going back decades). This is a small community and she has a great reputation for a reason. Highly recommend!
Miss Marian was my number one person to contact for openings when my son was born. I have a niece and nephew that are now 18 and 13, one of the biggest reasons why our entire family says that they turned out to be such awesome kids is because of Miss Marian!! Every day I drop my kid off there and he always comes home with something new that he learned that day. She has so many years of experience and still thrives every day to educate, think of some new creative way for the kiddos to have fun, but on top of all that keep her place SO CLEAN! I highly recommend Miss Marians, having my childcare here is by far the best investment I have ever made.
Both of my daughters have attended Ms. Marian’s for several years-my oldest for 5.5 years, until she went to Kindergarten! Both of my girls LOVE Ms. Marian. Her facility is super clean and structured which we love. She comes highly recommended in the area and I can see why! She is attentive, caring and loyal to her clients.
Marian had a good reputation in this town so I took my infant son to her daycare. She told another parent that my 6 month olds crying made her want to “shoot herself in the face” and that she wishes she could “put him outside and shut the door”. She told numerous people that he cries all day but did not relay this to me. She was never friendly at pickup or drop off. She also violated her license on multiple occasions. She had my baby and other babies sleep upstairs with no baby monitor and the upstairs is off limits according to her license. She was recently cited for having too many children. I saw her alone with 5 babies and a few toddlers (I didn’t know exactly how many were there). She put my baby in a high chair without being buckled and she had a jumper/bouncer. All of these are violations. I definitely do NOT recommend Marian.
