Description: January 2012 WoW!! Half of the school year is gone and we begin a new calendar year! Under the Son Preschool has been BLESSED! We are consisting of 5 women who make up our teaching staff. We have a VPK class, two 3 year old classes, and a toddler class. We presently have 32 children enrolled at our school. I can truly say that we are a family. It shows in how the parents, children, and teachers care for each other daily. At times the beginning of a New Year is spent looking back at what could have been, should have been, and what should not have been. However, I like to think of New Years as a new beginning. Looking at all our blessings and using them to bless others. I am thinking of the kind of things we can do to lighten a load for someone else, lend a listening ear to someone that needs to talk, or just a smile to someone that needs one. I see that every day at our school in the parents, the staff, and the children. My heart is warmed!! We also want our school to be a fun safe place for the children to play and learn. Our goal for the New Year: sprucing up our playground. The St. Mark's Trustees are in the process of obtaining estimates for a new fence to replace our existing one and one to extend to the west side. A family has offered to cover that cost of the extended fence area, which will allow the children a free running space to have some fun. YaY!! And we have more exciting news: just this week we have been blessed…two families have offered to cover the cost of a playhouse each! Another parent is looking into pavers for the foundation of the houses!! YaY x 3!! God again reveals Himself through others.
