The Learning Playhouse Day Care Inc. offers a preschool education setting in an atmosphere of happiness and joy for children 18 months to 5 years old, as well as an after school program for school age children. Our classroom setting is divided into various learning centers where the children can play and express themselves. The children are encouraged to choose for themselves the centers where they will play. The director and teacher, Ms. Jackie, MSEd is a NYS Certified Teacher and Graduate from Fordham University with over 12 years of experience working with typically developing children and children with special needs, from birth to 5 years of age in a variety of settings.
The Learning Playhouse Day Care will offer full-time child care Monday through Friday during the hours of 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M., with early drop off or late pick up available if needed.
Upon full enrollment, The Learning Playhouse Day Care Inc. will be offering "Music Together" and Yoga as part of its enriching curriculum and services to children.
Extra Services Available for Reasonable Rates: Parent's Friday Night Out and Saturday Child Care.
We are conveniently located in Pelham Bay, near the Hutchinson River Parkway, Interstate 95/New England, off Bruckner Blvd, near Pelham Bay Park and Wilkinson Park. We are located near bus lines #5, #12, #23 and train line #6.
