Description: We are a privately owned learning center operated by professional caregivers that have true appreciation for edcucating young children. We treat children as individuals with their own strengths, likes, and learning styles. Our goal is to nurture each child academically, socially, and to help each child develop to their full potential. TBC provides various programs designed to enhance your child's learning experience at every stage of his/her development. We offer a structured academic program that inspires your child to learn, grow, and succeed in a caring and safe environment. We accept children ages 1 through 12 years old.
Where possible, ChildcareCenter provides inspection reports as a service to families. This information is deemed reliable, but is not guaranteed. We encourage families to contact the daycare provider directly with any questions or concerns, as the provider may have already addressed some or all issues. Pros - well priced, convenient, flexible Cons - Only a few of the staff seem well trained. Condescending management (who I overheard does not treat staff well either). Employees did not seem happy... and it showed in their patience towards the children. I have seen them jerk my child, and roll their eyes when another child that maybe they didn't like would enter the room in the mornings. I've also seen the younger staff flirt with parents. Babies were sent home in soggy/leaky diapers - repeatedly. A few of the staff members were wonderful people, but as for the establishment as a whole... there were too many inconsistencies, too many inappropriate scenarios and I did not like how my child and I were treated. I would never recommend them. I regret staying as long as we did.
The "teachers" if you want to call them that are not attentive to my child. Each day I pick my child up, his pants are wet. He has told me that the teachers spank him. He's not being educated while there. It's more of an all day play time rather than school like setting. I've picked him up during the day and they're watching tv or movies. If I wanted him to do do that, he could stay home. Some of the teachers there are quite rude to the parents and children as I've witnessed. I would NOT tell other parents to go there. The only thing they have going for them is that they're inexpensive for the Eastside.
