I am surprised by the negative review. My daughter has been at Small Wonders five days a week for almost a year. She absolutely adores Joanie, as the children lovingly call her. Unlike what is reported in the other review, my daughter asks almost daily if we're going to Joan's, and when I say yes, she is ecstatic. When we first started there, she would ask all weekend when we were going back. The care is play-based learning, and Joan takes the time to rotate the toys weekly to keep the children engaged. They do activities to learn about different subjects, such as science or nature. They spend a lot of time outside. She serves balanced meals, including breakfast and lunch, as well as two snacks. I would highly recommend Small Wonders to anyone looking for a licensed in-home care provider. The children are well cared for, and more importantly, loved.
I have used Mrs. Joan as my daycare provider for the past 2 years. I love dropping my child off with her knowing he is well taken care of. I would recommend Small Wonders to anyone looking for an in-home daycare center.
I always had a bad feeling. And my child hated going there. He would scream and cry and beg us not to send him there. He was constantly put in a room by himself for no reason. She is more concerned with FB and socializing then doing her job.
