I have been a licensed childcare provider for over 23 years. Kim's Child Care believes that all children should be treated equally. I provide a safe, loving and consistent environment. To be able to provide this for children and their parents gives me great satisfaction. Children are our future, providing them with these things are not only helping them but everyone. I enjoy being with children. This gives me the opportunity to watch them grow and learn as we play together. In my child care I recognize that parents are a child's first and most influential teachers. It is important for me to have open communication with families, so that we can work together to best meet every child's needs. In my child care you will see children learning through their everyday play. I will be a role model to the children, as they learn about social skills, self help and other daily living skills. I think it is of the utmost importance that when children exit my child care the have the ability to interact appropriately with adults and other children. They will also be able to meet their own basic needs (dressing themselves, hand washing, ect). I recognize that it is important to be helpful members in my community and my goal is that the children will take pride in being helpful. I provide lots of learning toys, art, large indoor and outdoor play equipment. A smoke-free friendly home. Pre-school program Creative Curriculum.

My son loves going everyday, and is sad to leave at the end of the day. Kim provides him with a consistent and reliable routine that he brings home with him. He is learning really well and eats well while in care. Its overall a positive and supportive environment.
Mrs. Schmidt has taken care of my son for two years. As a first time parent, I was nervous about leaving my child, but she made the transition easy. Not only does she care a great deal for my son, but she goes above and beyond to make sure paths of communication are open and accessible. She accepts Venmo payments as well which is a HUGE help. She would give you the shirt off her back if she thought you needed it. Wonderful person. Great family.
