Annie and her husband Noah kept my child alive and that’s about the nicest thing I can say. They often bickered with each other in front of me and the children. Annie regularly snapped at the children for being kids. Many times she was on her phone ignoring crying kids. She yelled at her own children in front of me and my child. She is flaky and extremely unprofessional.
Knew her during her earlier rounds before she ran, never knew what to believe. Some things would be true, some wouldn't. Far, far too emotional for the line of work. Regret my kids time there.
Our daughter has been under Miss Annie's care since she was 3 and has learned so much since she started here. She is now in Kindergarten, and we know she is excelling there thanks to Miss Annie and her preschool curriculum. We still use Miss Annie’s care during school breaks or days when the school is closed and we both have to work.
Miss Annie is very loving and patient, and all of the children are happy and well treated here.
Our daughter would come home with art projects and school lessons almost every day. Miss Annie was always willing to listen to any issues that might come up and offered suggestions on how to deal with them, whether it was sleeping, potty-training, or eating. Our daughter is a picky eater, and Miss Annie was more than happy to accomodate her pickiness by providing a 'backup' meal for those who may not be interested in what is on the menu for the day, while still encouraging her to try new foods. She also uses an app that she updates throughout the day with meals and naptimes.
Her daycare is always organized, clean and inviting.
I would recommend Ready Set Learn to anyone in the area looking for quality and affordable care for their children.
P.S.: Our daughter fractured her foot two months after starting here, and Miss Annie had absolutely no issues with having to tend to a 3 year-old in a cast (who had to be carried around pretty much everywhere) along with all her other children.
My wife and I are extremely busy professionals. My wife works in Detroit as an emergency room physician and I am an IT Security Manager for an automotive manufacturer. In 2016, we had our first child and wanted to be sure that he was taken care of during the day as we were working. The important qualities that we sought out in a daycare facility were cleanliness, organization, education, and most importantly, love. We spent countless hours searching and interviewing local day care facilities, but could not find anyone that met all of those qualities. As a last resort, My wife sent a message through social media and quickly received numerous recommendations to Annie’s daycare services. We messaged Annie and she immediately invited us to her home daycare. We noticed that Annie had all of the qualities that we were looking for. As nervous new parents, we were careful and trusted our son to Annie’s care at 8 weeks old.
Annie’s daycare has been such a blessing to us. She has been extremely flexible to our long work hours and took George in like one of her own children. She spends the days not only caring for George but also teaching and helping to develop his mind. Because of her love for George, he is drawn and attached to Annie and now calls her “my Annie”. This really demonstrates the relationship that Annie has developed with our son.
I’ve been bringing my son to Annie since he was a toddler. He’s in first grade now and we still use her on breaks and for summer care. My son loves it there. Annie, Noah and Miss Tammy are all compassionate, kind, honest and dependable. Annie has an impeccable record with the state of Michigan which speaks volumes. Annie does have a contract and rules and she does stick to them. This may be hard for some people to understand or deal with but she has an obligation to all of the children she provides care for to keep them safe, healthy and happy. Annie is a professional yet very friendly child care provider. She has an open door policy for parents and sends updates throughout the day.
Plays favorites. You and your child may have a good experience if you are one, but if you're not there is a side of the owner that is over the top and out of the realm of professional expectations. Many things sent never came home, strangely easy to lose belongings for that it is a home daycare not that big.
I toured Ready, Set, Learn in December 2018. We decided to go on the wait list at that time since Annie was full until July. When my kids started in July they immediately formed a bond with Annie and her staff. We left a childcare center and are very happy with the transition. My children are excited to go to “school” every day. They are learning so much and having a blast. I absolutely love how Annie teaches the kids through imaginative play. My kids come home talking about how they want to be a doctor, vet, fire fighter, etc. Annie and her husband just spent the past two months renovating a 1300 square foot area of their home strictly for their daycare children. It turned out awesome. You can see how much Annie and staff love these kids. I’m so happy we made the switch to her daycare and plan to be with her for a long time!
My children have been in Annie’s care for over a year and they love it there. They have learned so much through the play based teaching. Annie is super flexible with my work schedule and great with all the kids.
My child and I love this center! The environment is set up to meet the needs of all children and allows for lots of fun educational play. We love the owners because they are honest, respectful, and flexible! They truly love children and care for every child. It says a lot when your child loves to go everyday and always has positive and fun things to say about their day.
My almost three year old has been with ready set learn daycare and preschool for almost a year now! We, more importantly my son, loves this center! He always comes home with positive things about his day and is excited to go almost every day. We love the staff and the environment. The environment is set up nicely to meet the needs of all the kids and it’s always clean! The owners are honest and very flexible when needed. They take great care of every child and fill the days with educational play and creative activities. I highly recommend this daycare/ preschool facility
Annie’s daycare is the best. She’s so compassionate and kind. My granddaughter has been coming since January. She’s always happy, clean, safe and the art projects are amazing. My baby has been learning so much.
My grandson has been attending here since November 2018. We love it here. Annie, Noah and Miss Tammy are so energetic and fun! We love seeing all of his projects and hearing him tell us all about his best friend Georgie. This is a wonderful daycare. Go for a tour and see for yourself.
Had a rough experience here.
Good days are good - bad days when managment mood changes are quite bad.
