Horrible. However, this was almost 30 yrs. ago and I didn't have a pc to report it. Moreover, I learned that this facility had been reported to the State with no changes.
My baby--6 months old or less--was only there for a month before I knew the Neglect (stopping in unexpectedly, talking to others, etc..) and I removed her as fast as I could. I would always have a dry diaper when I took her and she would have a dry diaper when I picked her up--but for the 1st time she developed a severe diaper rash (her diaper was not changed at all after I left her.) She had a severe blood blister (probably from crib) and must have cried loudly, yet no one picked her up and soothed her, etc..For 20+ babies, there should have been 3 Caretakers but there was only 1 (They pulled other Caretakers in when there were Inspections).
The Owner (almost 30 yrs. ago) confronted me about my allegations at a Community Child Care Meeting, no less. I told her I could verify anything I said and we could take it further, if she wished. She didn't. As I said, I hope this is under different management and/or the standards have been improved dramatically. At that time it was difficult to find reliable, adequate care for our "Precious" babies and children. This was the 3rd place in a year but I finally found a wonderful woman who cared for children in her home. We need to do reviews online so that parents can have feedback and knowledge that their children will not be neglected. Again, please note that this review is from 28 yrs. ago and hopefully, things have changed. (I think the currect 1 review is very positive).
Great Day Care!!!!!!!!!!!
