My son had an accident on the play ground, and ended up breaking his wrist. No one called to tell me he had an accident and he told me he needed to go to the doctor when I picked him up that afternoon. My son did tell me that he did not tell them his arm was hurting, but did go in the office crying after the fall, and I still was not notified. He also says the ladies in his after school class, would yell and threaten to paddle him. I had to sit him down and show him their rule book, so he would know they were not allowed to use corporal punishment. In addition to this, they only take cash payments and kept telling me I owed more and more, with in a week I went from owing $16 to $156. I’m no genius but that ain’t right, The IRS will be notified and hopefully they can find out whose pockets are getting lined. My child never really liked it there, and I’m ashamed to admit I allowed him to go for longer than I should have out of necessity, bc I have to work, but I should have tried harder to find somewhere better for him to go. Hopefully this will be a warning for the next parent looking for a good daycare, this ain’t it.
