Oh you know May 09, 2022
I have used this provider for more than 6 months

This co-op childcare center, let me tell you the struggles I had. For the sake of your children please read the whole review. It's run by a mother, Ama, and daughter, Alexandria.

Not only did I walk in on several occasions to find the children outside on the porch, with the sliding glass door only cracked, with no adult in sight. Yes, unattended, the one who's supervising down in the basement changing another child, literally I hung out with the kids playing for 15minutes . Both me and my spouse have walked in to find the kids outside unattended. Then they started locking the doors to prevent us from coming in.

Here's the kicker, they follow the school schedule to the T. They take winter break, spring break, all kinds of breaks and they still want the money!! They charge the same rates even in December when they take more than two weeks off. The new daycare I have my son in is taking 8 day vacation and is not charging for care those days. And she's an in-home daycare and cheaper than sugarland. I couldn't believe it, and when I told her about it (a new daycare about all the time off and charging the same rate) she disagreed with doing this, it's not right to do. I've had to use all my PTO because they take so many days off!!

Here is the biggest BS of it all. So my son's dad got impatient, ringing the doorbell 4 times, waiting for her to open the door. Ama finally opened the door and he made a comment about them needing help, meaning another staff member. Ama commented back "maybe you need to find another daycare" so my spouse said get my son's stuff, and he picked up our son and went out to his vehicle and started getting him in his car seat. She came out and tried to talk to him and he declined to talk to her. He literally said, "no I don't want to talk." So she texted me (not called) and said our son was not welcome back and we needed to pay the last month, with him at home.they terminated his care but still wanted me to pay for the next month! I asked her to continue my son's care for the last month to give me time to find another daycare. I told her my spouse would not be involved in anything, only me. Surgarland said no. Now she's taking me to court. When she was the one who terminated care, my spouse was not threatening, was not harassing, he did not raise his voice. All he did was agree with her and ask for her to get his son's stuff.

Also, I saw Ama leave a 4 month old baby in a car seat crying. They took a 4 month old baby when they were not able to care for the baby. They have too many children as it is. I watched her on numerous occasions prop a bottle in the baby's month, while in the car seat and walk away from the child!! This is not ok.

They have two large dogs they let run around.Their house is too small for 12 kids, or more. Their porch and backyard is the play area for the kids, their basement has a little fenced patio where they keep the bigger dog (not all the time). But from the upstairs porch you can see that little patio area and the fencing doesn't look safe. (Sorry hard to describe without you seeing).

I encourage everyone to not put their children in this daycare center. It's not worth the money.

They do not do any education with the children.
