I do not recommend anyone put their child in thus program find another option, especially if your kid has any kind of mental health problems (autism adhd ect)do dont send them here. They hire teacher (who is now the programs behavioral assistant)who are mean to children (not just my child but a little girl who was autistic so her mom pulled her from the program)and instead of trying to work with them and teach them they make you pickup your kids everyday at 11 o clock after 3 hours of being there. This program is a joke and after starting the new 2020-2021 school year still picking on my child and punishing him (depriving him of the education they are supposed to give our children to teach them and get them ready for school) and won't let him come for more then 3 hours(how does this help prepare your child for school?)so we are pulling our son from the program he will not be back
Headstart has really helped my 3 year old, I was so fortunate to get him enrolled in their program. He’s the 1st boy on my side of the family in 47 years, so unfortunately he has no other children his age to play with. They have worked so well with him & he loves school, hence, being able to play & see other kids. They have already taught him so much in just a month of his attendance. He cries when he has to leave school & church because he loves being around kids his own age to learn from & play with, poor little guy. I strongly suggest Headstart as your child’s 1st school. He has done so well, & I can tell a difference in him. They are also nice teachers who care about kids & their well being. I’m blessed that he is a part of this program & hopefully things will get even better from here on out.
