I have used this provider for less than 6 months

I wish I could leave a wonderful review for this establishment but I can't pull myself to do that. But I think it's bright and clever that the director would have friends and family to write a nice review but I think you need to hear it come from the horse's mouth of a mother who's child only made it two and a half weeks there and was released with no probable cause. I'm sure I can have a few parents stand with me and say that any two year old that is new to a daycare is entitled to a bad day. I'm sure that I can have even more parents stand with me and say that it takes time for a child to get adjusted and acclimated with a new environment. My son had a bad day on a Friday a action plan was put in place on a Monday and the director decided to have him not return on a Tuesday. My husband I followed through the plan as Mrs. Lewis suggested by staying with him for 30 min to monitor him. Let me catch you up to speed on what happened on Friday. My son threw a book down and in the middle of his temper tantrum the teacher takes it upon herself to hand the book back to him just for him to throw back down. As parents we all know when our children are in the middle of a temper tantrum you do not hand them a book back until they have shown that they are calm. Nothing major has happened to where he has put himself in harm or others in harm but let the director tell you different. on his last day I stuck around because mrs. Lewis wanted me to observe his behavior and his interaction and taken directions by the teacher. But what I witness was mind-blowing! I watched another two year old hit my son repeatedly as the director and the teacher overlooked. Long story short I have filed all and any compliant on this establishment and to be frank she needs to close down and rethink her business plan as a director of a daycare. Mrs. Lewis and her staff doesn't have to patients to truly teach and assist children that may need a little more attention then others during their phase of becoming familiar with a new environment. I found it very strange how she wouldn't allow you to walk completely into the daycare and will stop you at the door. if you have a active two-year-old that is outgoing and loves to explore this is not the day care for them as I witnessed another child having a severe meltdown yesterday and how I've noticed one of the three-year-old lays in bed all day with a pacifier in his mouth. Something strange is going on there and I can't put my finger on it but sooner or later it will be exposed.

I have used this provider for more than 6 months

I recommend Lewis Home School to any family with children. I now have all three of my children attending this program. The Lewis family are truly a blessing, when we were looking for child care, we wanted more than a babysitter. We wanted a trusting, loving, caring, and learning environment, we are getting all of that and so much more. The first week of my 3 year old enrolling she came home spelling her colors, and recognizing most of her numbers. Now after 6 months she writing her name recognizing all of her ABC's and numbers, bowing the presidents on money. Ms. Lewis, has also taken time with my oldest with math we have seen a major difference. I love the warm welcoming feeling no matter what time I call or stop by with questions. I look forward to the upcoming years with Lewis Home School.
