Miss Kelly & staff, her daycare program & home/facility are all amazing! Miss Kelly is full of energy & always has a warm, welcoming smile on her face. She personally greets each family as they drop their child(ren) off and again at pick-up. Her daycare is impeccably clean at all times (like, seriously!). She came highly recommended to me by a few different people and after checking out numerous in-home daycares as well as larger daycare facilities, there was just no comparison or question of the right place for us. Both of my kids started there as babies and have "graduated" just before the start of kindergarten (my youngest is 5 & just started kindergarten a month ago). They were more than prepared for "big kid school" thanks to Miss Kelly's daily schedule, routines, educational toys, activities, science experiments, & arts and crafts projects. My kids were excited to go to (Miss Kelly's) "school" everyday! They'd give Miss Kelly a big hug & crawl/walk/run to see their friends (while I was like, 'Umm, hellooo! Can I please have a hug goodbye!? :) There are always fun things happening, like pj day, wacky wednesday, dance parties, or show & tell. She has holiday parties with themed activities and meals/snacks, a birthday celebration for each child (complete with a special birthday balloon & present!), "The music lady" comes monthly to sing, dance & let the children play different instruments, "The library lady" comes to read stories & do puppet shows, Santa makes an incredible appearance each year & there have even been magic shows! Each year Miss Kelly & the kids make a garden in the backyard and grow a variety of fruits & veggies to pick and eat! They also get the awesome experience of watching caterpillars go through the entire process of turning into butterflies, which they then get to release! Miss Kelly & staff also do cooking with the kids, sensory bins & activities, "The magic bag", have adventures with Pete the Cat, "Top Banana" to celebrate a different child each month, the most amazing and fun Pirate Party each year, an Egg Hunt, & even indoor trick or treating! She teaches them all about colors, abc's, numbers & counting, early reader skills, coloring, painting, and even scissor skills for the pre-school aged kids! She has a huge, fenced-in backyard complete with a large swingset/climber, teeter totter, sandbox, coupe cars, sports balls, bubbles, chalk, & a ton of other outside play activities. My husband & I couldn't be happier with our daycare decision & after having our boys there 5 days a week, for a combined total of about 7 years, we can honestly tell you that it is the best daycare ever!
I worked with Miss Kelly for several summers when I was home from college. Her program was always so fun and fast paced. We did a Teddy Bear picnic and a 2-day Pirate Party. We spent lots of time outdoors with sidewalk chalk, bubbles and soccer games. Her facility should be called “camp” Kelly’s! Fun for all ages.
Miss Kelly came highly recommended to my family and we couldn’t be more happy with our decision to use her for the past 4 1/2 years. All 3 of my kids have gone here and we love it! Compassionate caregiver with great communication. Very clean facility and great families attend here. Highly highly recommended!!
I’ve been working for Kelly’s Kids for almost a year now and I can honestly say, her facility is THE BEST for childcare. The parents absolutely LOVE her and her business runs in 100% word-of-mouth. She’s reliable, experienced, has daily lesson plans, story time, healthy meals .. and just today, hosted a huge egg hunt for 17 children. I’m always impressed with her creativity and positive attitude.
I enrolled my son last year for part-time childcare. Kelly’s Kids came highly recommended. My son had never been in daycare so I wasn’t sure what to expect. Needless to say, I was blown away by his progress in speech, his alphabet and color recognition. He’s even learning scissor skills. I ended up bringing him F/T because he loved going and made wonderful friends.
I have worked for Kelly's Kids (Miss Kelly) for over 9 years now. Three words to sum up her facility... BEST, DAYCARE, EVER!!! Warm, loving, positive environment for children of all ages. Healthy meals provided. Preschool taught daily, along with month music performance, Show & Tell and my favorite...pajama day! Children are always happy and clean when they go home. Parents LOVE her!!!
Two of our children have gone through the care of Ms. Kelly and we were with her for the course of close to 8 years! I still remember the day that she called to tell me that there was room for our son as we were on a waiting list. We had either called/visited 20+ daycares. We felt that Ms. Kelly's provided the care that was "closest to home"! Both Kelly and Laurie are exceptionally loving and caring and I couldn't have asked for a better daycare for our children. We miss her terribly and anyone who sends their children here will not be disappointed!
I use to work as a fill in helper for Kelly's kids. My experience with her was nothing but the best. Kelly is wonderful with all the kids. She loves every single child that comes in to her home. This is a great place to take your kids to they are well taken care of!!
