DO NOT USE Jo !
She is rude and highly unprofessional! She dropped my child all because I stuck up for myself and my child ! ( and I’ve been told by other parents I’m not the first she has done this to!)
She gets super upset and rude and closes her daycare to certain children the night before they’re supposed to be dropped off if the parent doesn’t do exactly what she wants when she wants them to !
She dropped us over text message ! Didn’t even have the courtesy to tell us in person or on a phone call.
She was always talking badly about parents to other parents in front of the children !
My child came home crying multiple days due to how rude Jo was being !
I do not recommend Jo at all. Very unprofessional and very rude.
Jo's Daycare cancelled 2 days prior to us starting her daycare without any notice and or explanation except not able to meet our needs. Jolette refuses to call me and or my husband. We have been communicating since February !!! about schedules and flexibility. I signed the contract. We were set on drop off days from Me being 5x a month early. Just 5x!! And my husband the normal required drop off for her daycare for the remainder of the month. Pick up would be 430pm !!! (That is early compared to most working parents schedules!!!) I cloth diaper but told her I would pack disposables to accommodate it being more easier on her end. I offered to help cover preschool supplies. She said she didn't need it. I offered to help cover extra food cost and such she told me Costco cards even though she has a food program set up. My son drinks almond milk *I was providing that * I offered everything I could to make it work out. Met her and the assistants on Wednesday morning. Our contract stated 90/ day 3 days a week She wouldn't charge us on my husband's days off nor school holidays. She requested cancellation and sick days to be paid which of course we would just like our previous care provider for 3yrs. We have never EVER had any issues with daycare in elk grove. Payment on time Pick up on time Drop.off on time Now without notice!!!>>,my 6yr has no one to pick up or drop off from elementary school and I commute to greater Sacramento area for work and am not available for either. Signed her contract Wednesday 8/15/18 which was revised through messages. ready to go. Everything was set up. Highly HIGHLY Unprofessional Will be writing several reviews. She's a small business and was going to be providing preschool for my 3yr old( Wednesday I went to orientation at our local elementary and she told me not to worry about it because she offers preschool) now I have missed the deadline to turn in my sons forms for local preschool. Very much messed up my whole families schedule and my work schedule. We just moved here in May!!!! Jo's daycare was highly recommended from the school and local moms. We were thrilled. SINCE FEBRUARY EVERYTHING WAS DISCUSSED and ready to go. I have those phone calls documented and messages as well. Makes absolutely no sense. 2 days prior to starting a >>>message<<<< saying dont message me. I apologize, 2 weeks notice?? Who does that? Not a phone call But a text message. I will be sending our whole conversation elsewhere.not how you treat new incoming families to a small community. I would highly NOT recommend Jolette due to her unprofessionalism, poor work ethics and not flexible with working parents schedule and Also led us on 2 days prior to us needing daycare when I asked July 30th if I needed to find other care.
I highly recommend this daycare. Jo is very helpful, energetic and loves all the kids that she watches. She's patient, fun, and easy to work with. She's very involved when it comes to their education. Jo loves the summer time, so she takes the kids to sunsplash 2x week and they all have a blast. Her assistant is also fun loving, caring and energetic. They are a great team and they work to make sure that all the kids are safe, learning and having fun.
