I have used this provider for more than 6 months
I can say one thing positive about this daycare.. they kept my baby alive atleast. Other than that, I think DHS should intervene or shut down this facility. A few examples of violations: they use blankets to hold pacifiers in babies' mouths, they gave my baby 5 day old formula by accident, they didn't look under my daughter's crib for an extra bottle (where the extra bottles are stored) or call us, so they decided not to feed her for the rest of the afternoon instead. I had to catch my baby choking on a tissue on camera online and call the facility to let them know to have someone run in the room and pull it out of her mouth. Another example of negligence, they did not buckle my daughter into a rocker, so I found her on camera spin around, about to flip upside down on her neck. They FINALLY answered after 5 frantic phone calls and an email while I was helplessly watching my baby about to fall out of a rocker on her head. They also break ratio multiple times on a daily basis and do not follow any sort of sleep/nap regimen for the babies, so you constantly bring home an overtired infant. We had issues with the staff pre-filling out the daily reports. If I am picking up my child at noon, how will she have a poopy diaper at 3pm? Lastly, my daughter fell on tile and knocked her head, but they did not call us or let us know prior to pickup. I had tears in my eyes on multiple days knowing my daughter was left in their hands. I cannot stress this enough, if you want the best for your little one, or even better than the worst, this daycare is not for you.
Unprofessional, high teacher turnover. Underqualified staff (some). This center is a daycare not learning center. My child learned nothing there and I had a few instances where my child was not tended to. Very unpleased and I'm glad o got my child out along with many other parents!
Grace is more than a child care. It is a thriving school with an environment that encourages learning and teaches essential life skills with love. The director has a heart for this ministry. I encourage you to see for yourself.
This is one of the best kept secrets in Memphis. We LOVE this center. Our daughter was there from about 12 months to age 3.5 when we moved further away and I cried when we did! The LOVE your children, I mean really LOVE them! And their curriculum is fabulous! It's more than a daycare! My daughter starts kindergarten in the Fall and is testing off the charts and it in no small part because of the fabulous early start she received there! She still misses her "old school"! Miss you all!
We absolutely love this center. It is very clean and the staff is very professional. They love our child very much and are always extremely accomodating to any needs or concerns that we may have. This center is one of the best kept secrets in Memphis. Outstanding!
