Description:
Giggly Hugs Child Care takes a natural and playful approach to caring for your child. Our teachers spend their day talking, playing and learning along with your child. The teacher's focus is on relationships, so the class sizes are smaller than typical. This allows the teacher to spend quality individual time with every child, every day. The minute you walk into Giggly Hugs Child Care you will know that your child is being cared for with love and compassion, as every child should be!

So when I first had my walk through with Giggly Hugs, I had no doubts that this place would be the best for my son. I chose this place because of a recommendation and because it offers before and after school care in the Waukesha school district. But after about my 3rd month of taking my son there, I picked him up and he informed me that one of the staff hit him in the head and the neck and the heart (those where his statements). My son also told me exactly who this staff member was and also informed me he saw this staff dragging a child across the floor. I called the director and the director did a great job investigating but I don't believe a long enough investigation. My son has been to two prior daycares and has never mentioned anything like this until I took him here. I decided enough was enough when I pulled up in the parking lot and my son saw this staff member and got so nervous he was begging me not to take him in that I turned around and took him back home. Also when his father called to inform him of this after I did a couple days later, the one staff member said she was going to report to her boss and that the director would call us back which they have not.
