EFS programs offer quality early learning opportunities to promote family stability as well as prepare children for school and academic success. We serve over 500 children ranging in age from 3 to 12 through a variety of programs that include:
Before and after school care for K-5th graders at Galarza, Gardner and River Glen Schools from August to June.
Full day preschool for working parents who are seeking a school readiness program with extended childcare hours (7AM- 6PM M-F). This program is available at the Paseo site.
Full day summer enhanced care for working parents of preschool through school age children. This program operates from 7-6 PM and includes weekly theme-based activities, field trips, cooking and science projects and time every day to reinforce reading and writing skills.
Part day (3 hrs.) preschool is available at Gardner, Paseo, and River Glen centers to prepare children for Kindergarten including an emphasis on literacy development and social skills.
A summer camping program called Kids To Camp for low-income families serving youth 5-16 years old.
