Elite Skyhawks is a Christian-based program striving to teach valuable life skills through academic education, camps, cheer and tumbling classes, and so much more! Staci Long began Elite Skyhawks in 1999 after seeing a need for an interactive and engaging environment where her own children could play and learn. We have only grown since then! Our Greencastle facility just opened in November of 2019 with an abundance of experienced staff and a space modeled after the highly successful Clayton location. We have open classrooms, a recreational room with plenty of interactive toys to entertain your child, and a tumbling gym where your child can burn off their energy.
Our before and after school programs provide childcare from 6:30 in the morning until 6 in the evening, which leaves you ample time to focus on your own busy schedule. Buses transport students to and from the Greencastle schools, making Elite Skyhawks your convenient childcare option. We also host recreational cheer, tumbling, and ninja classes in the evenings for children who just can’t stay away from our gym! Our unique setup is an ideal environment for your kids to release all of their energy. From reading to running around the gym to making creative artwork, your child will have plenty of opportunities to learn academic curriculum, healthy habits, and social skills.
Your child’s safety is our first priority. All staff members are trained in CPR and Safety Certified. All employees must pass background checks before working for Elite Skyhawks. The facility remains locked at all times, and visitors must buzz in to gain access to the facility. When you drop your children off with us, you know they are safe and in good hands.
Our Legacy Elite Preschool: West Elite is an exciting academic program designed to teach students through a Christian worldview perspective. Academic curriculum models Indiana State Standards with a focus on building up your whole child. All Legacy Elite Preschool options include innovative learning opportunities that focus on giving students hands-on experiences, while cultivating a love of learning and setting a strong foundation on which to build life skills.

Preschool and Extended Day Programs:
- 3’s Preschool Class 3 Day Option: Your child must be 3 years of age and independent in the restroom. The program runs 9-11:30am on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Tuition is $110/month (11 monthly installments required). The program focuses on social learning activities, as well as teaching foundational academic skills!
- 3’s Preschool Class 5 Day Option: Your child must be 3 years of age and independent in the restroom. The program runs 9am-1pm Monday through Friday. Tuition is $235/month (11 monthly installments required). The program focuses on social learning activities, as well as teaching foundational academic skills! Enrichment activities include literacy based projects, fine motor skill work, and hands-on science and social studies activities!
- Pre-K Class 3 Day Option: Your child must be 4 years of age and independent in the restroom. The program runs 9am-1pm on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Tuition is $170/month (11 monthly installments required). This class uses an Early Childhood Foundations based curriculum and focuses on early literacy and math skills!
- Pre-K Class 5 Day Option: Your child must be 4 years of age and independent in the restroom. The program runs 9am-1pm on Monday-Friday. Tuition is $235/month (11 monthly installments required). This class uses the Abeka Curriculum and focuses on early literacy and math skills!
- Extended Day Program: Your child must be at least 3 years of age and independent in the restroom. The program is available from 6:30 am to 6pm Monday-Friday. The cost of the extended day program is $535/month and includes breaks! *Tuition includes Preschool or Pre-K academic program AND Extended Camp Program. *This program entitles you to the proper tax paperwork upon request.
Recreational classes:
- Toddler Time is a daytime class that serves ages 18 months-3 years. The class focuses on teacher-led curriculum and helps to improve motor skills through songs, mini obstacle courses, trampoline play, bounce house fun-time, foam pit activities and more. Parent/guardian participation is required.
- Preschool Play celebrates ages 3-5 years in a fun, energetic class where preschoolers create their own adventure through free play time. Students have access to trampolines, foam pit, obstacle courses and more.
- Preschool Tumbling helps to develop motor skills through changing obstacle courses, cardio exercises, intro tumbling skills, and game-filled flexibility training.
- Ninja Tykes Class includes multiple ninja classes that are held at the same time by age, but they include the option to compete with other classes in timed races. Classes focus on forward-moving motions, rolls, leaps, climbing, and jumps that students combine to complete ninja courses. They feature obstacle courses, foam pits, rock walls, & incline mats.
- Cheer FUNdamentals Classes are geared towards athletes ages 6-9 years old. All skill levels are encouraged to join us for an exciting class that develops into a half-season team in January. We teach a warm-up routine followed by cardio skill activities, with a time devoted specifically to basic cheer-related routine skills.
- Level Tumbling curriculum ensures that students progress in an organized manner. We focus on a variety of level/skills, and children will be placed in groups that give them the best opportunity to safely develop their skills.
- Private Tumbling includes individual training time. The class ratio is one coach per two students. Classes are scheduled monthly (with no long-term commitment). You choose your own coach and class time.
- Elite FUNdamentals Team is a program for young athletes interested in cheerleading, but on a low-cost & low-commitment schedule. Athletes have the opportunity to perform at Elite Skyhawks’ Spring Festival in May after learning a basic cheer routine. We offer a free trial class. The cost is $65/ month with a $15/month optional tumbling package.
Special Events:
- Kids’ Night is offered in Greencastle on the first Friday of every month. For only $20/child or $35/family, parents can drop their children off and enjoy a night to themselves. We will provide dinner, trampoline play, and other organized activities.
- We also offer 3 birthday party packages to take to hassle out of planning a party that your child is bound to love. The services range from a standard party with a birthday banner to additions like inflatable courses. All birthday parties include private access to the purple gym with additional organized games and free play. All parties include up to 12 children and you receive a t-shirt and a free kids’ night certificate.
Before/After School and Summer Camp:
- Before/After school programs open at 6:30am Monday - Friday. Camp ends at 6pm for students of any age. Our program is available on ½ days & early dismissal days at NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE for those enrolled in After School Camp! The program is also offered on most days that the school is closed unless closings are due to inclement weather, and some holidays may qualify as closures. Buses pick up and drop off at our facility. Our unique facility allows us to provide affordable fitness activities, camps, and fun-filled experiences!

- Summer Camps are run with themes on a weekly basis. Every camp includes camp snacks, crafts and inventions, open gym play, quiet hour, indoor and outdoor activities, all based on the THEME OF THE WEEK! Summer camp is open 6:30am-6:00pm, with special activities from 9am-5pm each day. Campers should bring a sack lunch daily. The cost of camp per student per week is $150 with a special rate if you purchase the entire summer in advance.
