Description: Developmental Preschool and Day Care Center is a private, non-profit organization, which provides child care, preschool, special education, and related services to young children and their families in Albany County. Established in 1976, Developmental Preschool has served the Laramie community with quality child care and preschool services nearly four decades and continues to be a leader in caring for children with all abilities. The child care and preschool component is licensed by the Wyoming Department of Family Services to provide care for children from birth through 12 years old with full and part time care. As a non-profit, we are one of the only child care facilities in Laramie to offer sliding fee scales for low-income families.
Services to children with developmental delays or disabilities, birth to five years of age, include evaluation, special education instruction, speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, social emotional support, and inclusion in a regular classroom with their peers. Early intervention services are provided to eligible children at no cost to the family.
