My fiancee call to talk to Miss James to ask about receipt throughout the year for income tax she told her no ask your faggot baby daddy not professional at all just because I gave my honest opinion on her daycare never had no problem with no money yes my son be hard to listen to some time but to come home every other day with bruises on his body that was not cool never gave us no incident report kept saying boys going to be boys my son at another daycare now going on 2 weeks no bruises good attitude good behavior and everything I'm doing what every parent trying to do trying to protect their kids Courtyard daycare trifling nasty and all about the money if you don't believe me go to all her reviews all of them will tell you the truth about Courtyard kid is Miss James is nasty with a nasty attitude which is all messed up
Mr. Smith sorry to hear that you had a bad experience with the center over your two years of being part of the family. There is always a complaint when money or behavior is involved I released your child due to behavior in which you were unable to control it is very hard to work with kids that the parents have no control over and it is even harder to lose teachers over behavior. As a business we have to revenue to keep our doors open I wish you and your family the best in whatever center you chose to attend but I’m sure that director is having the same issue with your son as we were. Sometimes as parents we have to look at our self to see where the problems lay. Just because we have kids don’t make us good parents we have to provide structure as well.
I would highly recommend never taking your children here. As an employee that worked here i seen it all hands on worst center i have ever worked at or visited and i really really mean worst. Holes around bottom of walls not to count the smell is awful and i arrived one morning to find what it looked to be rat s*** and dead roaches on the floor. Having to make bottles for the morning breakfast milk it looked as if they were fast rinsed and throw in a plastic bag for the next day they had milk water still in them black mold growing around the top of the bottle tops/nipples . During nap time the toddlers age 1 is laid down on their chest with blankets knotted around their backs tied under the cots to keep them to where they cant get up. Younger kids under the vpk age are left unattended during nap time while the so called Director Mrs. James sits in her office looking at the cameras which is not going to tell weather the child is choking or not and is she going to get there fast enough if there was to be a child choking. not to mention i have never worked n a child care facility where the parents were not able to pick their children up from the class room nor drop off to their class room until i worked here.
For any one looking at the reviews looking into working here i would say go somewhere else if not worth the time to even go and talk to Mrs. James pay sucks you have no clock in and out system she keeps track of all the hours and when yo do finally receive pay it not what you should have been paid and there is no proof that can be provided of how many hours you had and what was taken out in taxes. she expects you to take a lunch break every day of an hour but you have to sit in one classroom and continue to watch the older kids while that teacher goes out to get her and the director food
This whole place is a SCAM to the parents and employees keep driving its not worth it. i feel so bad for the family's that already have their children enrolled and wish they were able to see what is hidden behind closed door.
This is an excellent place to work. The childcare business can be very challenging, but I can honestly say I love my job. For the most part the children are well behaved, and are eager to learn and play. The curriculum is great and even the babies are taught sign language, art and so much more. It is a pleasure to work for Ms. James. She is fair, compassionate, and most importantly; has the best interest for all children & their families. She looks out for her staff as well. For me the day and week goes by so fast. The schedule is well organized and the children know what to expect. We even have some, both young and big, who get upset when it's time to go home. Sometimes I find my hanging around after I get off. Truly a great place to work. If you're lookin for a fun, loving, safe, and good educational experience; come check us out for yourself :-)
