| Findings: Upon arrival to the home there were two children under age 2 present for care. The provider is only approved for one child under age 2 because she has an infant child of her own. As a result of the two under age 2 being in care and the provider's daughter being present as well, there were a total of three children under age 2 present at the home on today. The provider thought because she had her mother in law at the home caring for her own child, that she could take in an additional child under age 2. Despite the fact the provider's mother in law was present in the home at the time of the inspection, she is not an approved additional adult that has met all applicable requirement nor is the provider approved to care for more than two children under age 2 unless approved by the licensing agency. One of the children in care was picked up by her mother while this specialist was on site, leaving the provider in capacity. | |||

The provider thought because she had her mother in law at the home caring for her own child, that she could take in an additional child under age 2. Provider informed her child will count towards her capacity at all times, at least until she turns age 2 and age 6. Provider may not provide care for more than two children younger than 2 years old (which includes her own child) unless approved by the licensing agency. One of the children in care was picked up by her mother while this specialist was on site, leaving the provider in capacity. | |||
